1. Dreams and oh let’s see, more dreams
I love to talk dreams, to talk ideas, to talk creative wanderings of the heart. I love that when I am with God that His presence just pulls it out of me. And I love that when we pause to listen to the dreams of others, we see God. We see sides of our Father’s face that maybe we didn’t catch before.
So I grew up in the country and growing up in it, I hated it. I was all, “get me out of here fast” and “I am never coming back!” But now when I do go back to visit, I find it so lovely. The wide-open fields, big skies, stars at night.
This. Oh this. I love that encouragement is literally just speaking courage into the heart of someone else. I love that we can listen to our Father’s heart not just for us, but for other people! I love that we can call out the gold and treasure in people so they see it, like we all see it. I love watching encouragement bring people to life!
Oh colours, how I love you. I am ridiculously addicted right now to mint, coral, aqua and gold, It is crazy to me how colours have the power to inspire and to heal. I think God knew what He was doing when He made the earth, when He made us. He used this massive array of tones and shades of the rainbow and if we stop to look and to listen, we could probably hear a love story in each one.
The ocean is one of the most ridiculously inspiring things to me. It makes up so much of my Pinterest (well, that and flowers). I love the furious nature, the eternity and the roar of the ocean because it reminds me of His love. I did not get to see the ocean until I was 20 and it was one of the coldest days of our Canadian winter, but I could have looked for days.
