1. Holding Hands
To me, there is no gesture more innocent yet more loving than a man coming up and holding my hand, especially when I least expect it. It shows me love and care, yet not asking much back but a grasp in return.
I don’t have a garden yet, but as I am looking to buy a house, one of my main criteria is to be able to have a garden. I grew up walking into my backyard getting to eat a sweet golden raspberry or pick a zucchini to make a loaf of bread. It is the best feeling to know you nurtured something to nurture yourself.
God created us, and I feel he instilled this need to create. I love makeup- putting it on, shopping for it, whatever. I also love love LOVE projects and crafting with whatever I can find at the nearby Resource yard. He created us, and we in turn get to catch small glimpses of what he must have felt when he created us!
4. Boogie-ing down
It’s nothing I’m good at, but there are few things I love more than when Tyler randomly sweeps me up in the kitchen for a dance, or a night on the town with my girls. Dancing is the best part of a wedding, and is the thing I do to celebrate. To me, dancing happens when there is an overflow of joy that can only be expressed by movement.
Similar to dancing for me, toasting usually only happens when I’m with my favorite people. Whether it’s a celebration of together-ness, or an engagement, or whatever the occasion, I knew I’ll be at a table of my favorite people if glasses are raised and champagne is being poured.
