With my girlfriends spread across the country, in all different phases of busy life, gChat has become the thread that holds us together. As we’re at work each day, we always have our chat windows open, talking about big things and small things and everything in between. It’s amazing to feel like a real part of their daily lives, even from so far away. Thanks technology!
2. New friends
It’s humbling to move to a new place where you know almost no one. But the past several weeks have been a beautiful adventure of meeting new people and making new friends. I’m so grateful to the people who have so kindly and generously welcomed me into their lives.
3. Sleeping late
I used to be a morning person, going to bed before midnight and waking up with time to spare. But lately I’ve adopted the nocturnal habits of my husband, staying up way too late and sleeping in as late as life will allow me. I feel like a college student waking up so late, but I love it… for now.
Nashville is such a cool town and I feel like I discover a new area, coffee shop, or restaurant every day. I’m just scratching the surface on all this place has to offer, but I’m already so grateful to live here.
5. Big Dreams
There are so many dreams and projects in the pipeline for me, and I’m pretty sure I add a new one every single day. I’m learning a lot about patience and hard work as I work to make these dreams a reality, but I’ve never been so motivated!
