1. The 4th Of July
Waking up the morning of, usually on the trampoline, as a child and even now as an adult. The bond our little neighborhood has during this weekend as if we’re all in a campsite and excited that there are people next to us. The loud booms and the bright colors and the crazy songs and the rasin-y skin from swimming all day and the popsicles, mmm… the popsicles.
2. Large Bodies Of Water
Water (most of it) is always moving, never still, never questioning which way it should go. It reminds me of how I like my life, in motion and purposeful.
Don’t ever look at how Kombucha is brewed if you ever want to like it. No, it’s not vinegar and no, it wasn’t scooped out of some moldy tree. It’s addictive and healthy for you and takes away all the stomach aches and pains that I so often have, especially when I’m stressed. If you haven’t tried it…. go try it… like right now….
4. A pretty working space
I enjoy my work space when it’s pretty and exciting. It changes my entire perspective and makes me want to be there always instead of forced to be there, always. My boss just added these adorable little clip boards for our customers to sign their receipts. It changed the entire process of making them sign. Weird? Maybe. More customer friendly? Of course!
5. Bright pictures, Bright days
I picked up a magazine the other day and didn’t look at another page because of how dark the pictures inside were. Pictures and life and rooms and smiles are meant to be bright and encouraging and life-bringing. So now I’m changing out my wardrobe and my pictures and making sure they are bright, bright, bright!
