I know this sounds crazy, but email is absolutely my favorite part of my job. I love it because it’s so much more than email to me. Corresponding with my readers feels much more like a coffee date in our inboxes than a series of formal messages sent back and forth. It’s so warm and casual and encouraging — it’s just my favorite!
In that, I want you to know how much I respect your time and your inbox.
I do my very best to only send you things that I think will make your heart lighter, warmer, fuller, or just plain happy. 🙂
So, with that important promise made, let’s take care of a few logistics.
I get emails from my readers all the time saying, “I thought I hadn’t heard from you in forever, and it turns out your email went to my spam folder! How do I make that stop happening!?”
In fact, sometimes my own emails end up in my spam folder. Which is just ridiculous.
So, before that ever happens, let’s make sure you actually receive the fun things I’m about to send your way!
Here’s how to do it:
1. Add me to your contacts!
That way your email provider knows we’re friends and knows to keep my emails out of your junk folder. If you’re not quite sure how to create a new contact, click on this super handy link. It breaks it down for you step-by-step based on your email provider. (These people are pros, and the steps are super easy!)
I love hearing from you, so this is as much for me as it is for keeping emails out of your junk folder. But really, I love hearing from you. So if I send you something, go ahead and click reply and tell me what you think! Tell me how you’re doing, how your day is going, or how I can encourage or pray for you! Replying also helps your email provider know that we’re friends. Two birds, right?
3. If you haven’t seen something from me in awhile, check your spam folder
These things happen, so if my emails end up in there, just click on the message and look for an option that says, “Not Spam!” or “Not Junk!”
And if you’re having trouble along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out! Hello@StephanieMayWilson.com. I’m no tech genius, but we’ll figure it out together.
I’m so grateful for you love. I’m on your team — praying for you, and cheering you on along the way.
See you in our inboxes!
All my love,
